Adele’s ’25’ Set to Topple Record Sales in Just One Week
Since the debut of her newest album, 25, it’s safe to say, “Yes, Adele, the world hears you.”
The latest Adele masterpiece, which debuted last Friday, is set to break a Neilsen’s record that has stood strong for 15 years. If the numbers hold true, 25 is set to sell over 2.5 million copies in just one week. This will break ‘N Sync’s long held record of 2.4 million, which dates back to 2000 for their album, No Strings Attached.
According to music insiders, today’s climate for record sales is considered far worse than in recent memory, especially the inflated early 2000’s when ‘N Sync set their record mark.
I hope ppl grasp, #Adele25 breaking NSYNC 1st-week sales record is like hitting 85 home runs in a season, or a 3-minute mile. Transcendent.

25 is the singer’s first album in over four years, since her 2011 blockbuster, 21. In 2013, Adele received an Academy Award, Grammy Award, and Golden Globe for Best Original Song for Skyfall, from the James Bond movie of the same name.
The famously private singer is known for sharing her life through emotional music. Her lyrics deeply resonate with fans – male and female alike.
Not going to lie, Adele "25" will probably be on repeat for my entire 4 hour flight

Since her last album, 21, Adele and her partner, businessman Simon Konecki, welcomed a baby boy, Angelo. For her previous two albums, 19 and 21, Adele won several Grammy Awards including Best New Artist, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, Album of the Year, and Record of the Year.
Even before officially breaking ‘N Sync’s sales record, Adele topped a record held by pop star Taylor Swift. Her video for “Hello” collected 27.7 million views on Vevo, more than the 20.1 views for Swift’s “Bad Blood.”
