The 2016 presidential election is a media goldmine. Pop culture parodies are popping up left and right and thanks to late night host Jimmy Kimmel, you can now see the candidates as future Avengers.

Before interviewing some of the cast from Captain America: Civil War, Kimmel noticed the similarities between the current election and film.

“Both of them feature former friends who are now enemies. They both feature powerful men and women who are also cartoon characters,” Kimmel shared on his show Monday night. “There’s also a lot of interest in both, so much so that Marvel decided to weave the campaign into the new movie trailer.”

In the Marvel “trailer,” Bernie Sanders plays “an all-American idealist,” as Captain America who is trying to take down “diabolical billionaire” Iron Man, a.k.a. Donald Trump. Hillary Clinton makes an appearance as Scarlet Witch and Ben Carson is even thrown into the action as Spider-Man, just trying to get someone to attack him. The hilarious clip works pretty well based on their personalities, check it out below!

Politics aside, actual footage from Captain America: Civil War aired on Kimmel’s show, following the first clip that was released during the MTV Movie Awards. The clip features Scott Lang as Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) meeting team captain, Captain America (Chris Evans), himself.

Captain America: Civil War finds Captain America leading a new formed team of Avengers helping to save and protect humanity. However, conflict ensues splitting the Avengers into two teams, one led by Captain America with his hope for the “Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference,” and the other led by Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr), hoping to overtake the “decision to support government oversight and accountability,” shared ComingSoon.

Captain America: Civil War hits theaters on May 6. Check out the clip below!
