Chris Pratt has likened Jennifer Lawrence’s acting ability to Adele’s award-winning singing.

Guardians of the Galaxy star Pratt stars opposite Lawrence in upcoming adventure Passengers, about two travelers awoken 90 years early during a space voyage to a distant planet.

The pair have started to hit the promo trail, both joking around on the red carpet together. When it comes to his co-star, Pratt is happy to be honest about the Oscar-winner.

“She is truly one of the greatest actresses I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. She acts like Adele sings,” he gushed to British GQ. “You just sit back and you think, damn, some people… She’s a terrible singer! But she’s a wonderful actress.

“She could just do it. She could just turn it on and it strikes emotion in you, like some people can just open their mouths and sing.”

Lawrence is just as honest in return, telling reporters in Paris on Tuesday: “I told him I’d fallen asleep three times while trying to watch (Guardians of the Galaxy). He thought I hated it, which I don’t – I’ve now seen it!”

The first installment in the Marvel franchise was released in 2014, with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 due out in April 2017.

The all-star second chapter reunites original cast members Pratt, Zoe Saldana and Karen Gillan, among others. Filming proved tough for the 37-year-old though as he was still mourning the loss of his father Daniel, who died in 2014.

“The truth is I ripped open some wounds that had been healing for some time. And I didn’t want to. But I knew it was right for the moment… There are wounds that are never going to be totally healed,” he sighed. “It would probably make for a better story if it was some emotional thing that I hadn’t dealt with… When we face the death of a parent, you sometimes feel regret that you didn’t fully embrace what you had.”
