Eagles Of Death Metal To Join U2 At Paris Gig – Report

Rockers Eagles of Death Metal are reportedly set to return to Paris, France, following the terror attack at their Bataclan theater gig last month to support U2 this weekend.
Sources tell Billboard, Bono and his bandmates have invited the Californian group to join them onstage at the AccorHotels Arena on Sunday.
The gig will also include Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme, who co-founded Eagles of Death Metal, but was not onstage with the stars when armed terrorists stormed the band’s gig in Paris and opened fire, killing 89 people.
The AccorHotels Arena gig will be U2’s first in France since they scrapped a gig in the city that was scheduled for the night after the atrocities.
Bono and his bandmates offered their support to the Eagles of Death Metal following the events on November 13, buying the musicians cellphones and offering them the use of their private plane, so they could get back to their families in America.
Meanwhile, the U.S. rockers recently pledged to return to Paris and frontman Jesse Hughes announced he wanted his band to be the first to perform at the Bataclan when the venue reopens.
