Ditching Dog Treats for Popsicles, Bull Dog Becomes Frequent Ice Cream Truck Customer

For one English bulldog, typical dog treats just don’t make the cut. For Rambo, popsicles hit the spot. Each time the ice cream truck rolls around his neighborhood of Hunstville, Alabama, Rambo is the first in line for a sweet treat.
“This dog always gets ice cream from me while the owner is watching,” Akins Luwoye, the ice cream truck’s owner, shared with WAAY31.
Since Rambo cannot reach the counter, his owner follows behind him to pick up the tab.
“He’s like give me my ice cream, my dad will pay you,” his owner, Ashish Silwal said.
Rambo first got his taste for popsicles when he saw the ice cream truck driving around his neighborhood about a year ago.
“Rambo was all excited out of nowhere, and I was like okay, let’s go get some popsicles, and next thing you know he’s jumping in the truck,” Silwal explained.
Since then, Rambo gets pretty excited whenever he hears the music coming toward him.
“Other dogs on my route, when they hear the music, they’re scared. But he is not scared, so it’s unique,” Luwoye says.
