The future has come. October 21, 2015 was the day Marty McFly and Doc Brown flew into the future in the DeLorean in Back to the Future Part II. (They even got the Wednesday right!) Back in 1989 when the film came out, the moviemakers shared a lot of predictions of what the future would be like. It turns out, they weren’t completely off base! They actually got a lot of things right, or close enough. Maybe the filmmakers really did know how to time travel?

So how close did their version of 2015 get to real life? Let’s take a look at the predictions that came true and the things the movie got totally wrong (but we really wish were right!).
