Patient, Caring Waiter Sits Down to Feed Customer With No Hands

A beautiful moment between a customer and a waiter would have gone unnoticed had a man by the name of Reginald Widener not captured the stunning moment with his phone.
22-year-old waiter Alex Ruiz was working his shift at Cinco de Mayo Mexican Grill in Douglasville, Georgia, when he heard a customer calling for help, according to A Plus. Noticing the customer was unable to feed himself, Ruiz sat down to assist the customer.
“He had a smile on his face the entire time,” Widener told CBS News. “He didn’t complain about it; it looked like he really cared.”
Widener posted the photo to Facebook where it quickly went viral.
The whole meal lasted about 30 minutes and, according to waitress Crystal Figueroa, Ruiz didn’t get up once.
“[He] sat with him until he was finished eating,” she said. “He patiently waited for him to finish his meal.”
Afterwards, other people in the restaurant complimented Ruiz on his actions.
“There’s people who have a worse situation dealing with more [stuff] than you do day to day,” Widener told CBS. “The world needs more people to be positive.”
