TV personality Sharon Osbourne took swift action by literally kicking off stage an intruder who took over the microphone while she and her The Talk co-hosts accepted a prize at the People’s Choice Awards on Wednesday night.

The rock matriarch and her U.S. chat show castmates, Julie Chen, Sheryl Underwood, Aisha Tyler and Sara Gilbert, were named the winners of the Favorite Daytime Hosting Team category, and Gilbert stood at the microphone to begin her acceptance speech.

However, the actress was barely able to get a few words in before a young man stormed the stage to grab the microphone stand away from Gilbert, and gave a “shout out” to rapper Kevin Gates, before yelling, “Yeezy jumped over the Jumpman,” reciting a line from Kanye West’s new song “Facts.”

Ironically, West also hit headlines for his own stage crash at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, when he interrupted Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech.

Underwood took quick action as soon as she realized the intruder’s intentions, pulling the mic away from him and saying, “Uh uh. No. You ain’t gonna pull no Steve Harvey up in here, no sir. Back to your speech girl (Gilbert). Security!” The comedienne referenced Harvey’s recent gaffe at the Miss Universe ceremony, where he had to take the stage once again after accidentally naming Miss Colombia the winner of the beauty pageant.

At the same time as Underwood, Osbourne also was fast on her feet, going towards the man and kicked her legs at him as if to push him off the stage. A brief shot of Osbourne giving him the middle finger was aired, before producers quickly cut to a shot of the audience. She could also be heard saying, “Get the f**k off the stage!”

Gilbert brushed off the jarring incident, and said, “Anyway, I was just gonna say that we feel like we’re the motley crew of misfits,” before Tyler added, “But that guy is not in our crew!”
