State Troopers Surprise 10-Year-Old After No One Came to His Birthday

It’s every child’s worst nightmare – no one shows up to their birthday party.
This is what happened to Toxey, a 10-year-old boy from Arkansas. Obviously upset, his mother, Angela Andrews, posted about the event (or, non-event) on Facebook. That’s when something incredible happened: The post reached Arkansas State Police troopers who then decided to give Toxey a party he’ll always remember.
On Monday, after Toxey got home from school, five state troopers surprised him by pulling up at their house and bringing him cake. The troop consisted of Cpl. David Forthman, and troopers Terry Sawyer, Kyle Sheldon, Brandon Cook, and Tim Callison, along with their faithful K-9, Rhino.
Andrews wrote on Facebook, “I don’t even know where to start because thank you just doesn’t seem good enough!”
The troopers also brought him loads of presents, and let him play with Rhino and with the sirens in their car.
“They ate his cake with him and played basketball with him,” Andrew wrote. “All out of the goodness of their hearts. They made my sweet baby’s day, and his year!!”
Arkansas State Police also shared the day on Facebook writing how proud they were of their officers.
“We all want to make a difference, and these troopers showed today that #kindnessmatters,” they wrote.
If you want to send Toxey presents, you can do so by sending them to the below address, according to APlus.
