Tom Hanks is back and saving the world in Dan Brown’s latest novel to hit the big screen.

Directed by Ron Howard, Inferno brings back Robert Langdon, this time following him “on a trail of clues tied to the great Dante himself.”

After Langdon wakes up in an Italian hospital with zero recollection of events, he joins forces with Sienna Brooks (Felicity Jones), a doctor he thinks can help him piece his memory back together. Together the team treks throughout Europe, solving clues to find the solution to “foil a deadly global plot” before the clock runs out of time.

Ben Foster, Irrfan Khan, Omar Sy, and Sidse Babett Knudsen join Hanks and Jones on this whirlwind adventure. This is the third film from The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons author, Dan Brown. Though this is the third movie in the franchise, Inferno is based on the fourth book in Brown’s series.

Inferno opens in theaters on October 28. Check out the trailer below.
